PHILSEC 2026

As the Philippines accelerates its ambition to become one of Southeast Asia’s leading digital economies, the urgency to secure its rapidly expanding digital ecosystem has never been greater. Over the past decade, the nation has undergone an aggressive wave of digital transformation, from banking and healthcare to government services, payments, and critical infrastructure – positioning itself among the region’s fastest-growing digital markets.

However, with accelerated digitalization comes heightened exposure to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats targeting businesses, public institutions, and critical infrastructure. The country’s cybersecurity market, valued at USD 261.5 million in 2025, is projected to nearly triple by 2032, driven by rising investments in cyber resilience, digital trust, and enterprise security.

Against this backdrop, the need for stronger collaboration between government agencies, law enforcement, military institutions, regulators, and private enterprises has become more critical than ever. Addressing this imperative, PhilSec, the Philippines’ flagship cybersecurity summit returns for its highly anticipated sixth edition on 30 June – 1 July 2026 at the prestigious Manila Marriott Hotel.

Over the years, PhilSec has evolved into one of the country’s most influential platforms for cybersecurity leadership, strategic dialogue, and industry collaboration. This year’s edition arrives with unprecedented institutional backing from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG), and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), reinforcing the summit’s position as a premier national platform focused on cyber defence, digital trust, and national security.

Further underscoring the summit’s strategic significance, the event will be inaugurated by Usec. Rodil Aniban, Officer-in-Charge and Undersecretary for Cybersecurity at DICT, whose presence reflects the Philippine government’s intensified commitment toward strengthening national cyber resilience.

PhilSec 2026 will also bring together some of the world’s leading cybersecurity companies and technology innovators. Industry leaders including CrowdStrike, ManageEngine, GitLab, Orca Security, Globe Business, and Snyk, among many others, will take centre stage showcasing cutting-edge solutions designed to address the evolving cyber threat landscape.

The summit’s speaker lineup represents every critical layer of the country’s cyber defence ecosystem, from policy and law enforcement to military cyber operations and international threat intelligence. Some of the confirmed speakers include:

  • Atty. Renato “Aboy” Paraiso, Executive Director, Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC)
  • George Tardio, Officer-in-Charge, Director – Cybersecurity Bureau, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)
  • Edmund Goh, Head – Asia & South Pacific Cybercrime Operations Desk, INTERPOL
  • PMGen Wilson C. Asueta, Director, Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG)
  • Francel Margareth Padilla, Cybersecurity Woman Leader and Evangelist, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)

In addition to the main conference agenda, PhilSec will host its exclusive CISO Lounge, an invite-only, closed-door roundtable designed for the country’s senior-most information security leaders to engage in candid discussions, exchange strategic insights, and forge high-value partnerships.

The event will also feature an expansive 30,000 sq. ft exhibition floor, offering solution providers direct access to an elite, pre-qualified audience of over 1,000 cybersecurity decision-makers and technology leaders. Attendees will include C-suite executives, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Heads of Risk & Compliance, Cyber Law specialists, IT leaders, and senior government stakeholders — many representing organizations with active procurement mandates and allocated cybersecurity budgets.

The two-day summit will culminate on the evening of 1 July 2026 with the prestigious PhilSec Awards, recognizing leaders across 7 exclusive categories, who have significantly advanced the Philippines’ cybersecurity landscape over the past year. The ceremony will be followed by an extravagant Gala Dinner and networking reception.

Commenting on the upcoming edition, Sudhir Jena, Co-founder and CEO of Tradepass, the global event organizing firm behind PhilSec, shared, “Six editions in, what stands out most is not just the scale of growth, but the scale of responsibility. Cyber threats today are more sophisticated, more relentless, and more disruptive than ever before. At the same time, the level of institutional collaboration and industry commitment we are witnessing is unprecedented. PhilSec was created precisely for moments like this, to bring together the people and institutions shaping the future of cybersecurity in the Philippines.”
