Phantom Will Remove Sui Support On September 24

This means users will no longer be able to view their Sui balances or use Phantom to send, receive or swap Sui assets after the transition. Access to Sui applications through Phantom will also end. The company has given users two main options. Users who want to continue holding native SUI can move their existing wallet to another application that supports the network. Phantom specifically points users toward Slush, the Sui Foundation’s wallet, and says users can import their existing wallet using their current recovery credentials. Users who no longer want to hold native SUI can instead swap their assets for cryptocurrencies supported by Phantom. The company said it is waiving its own fee for cross-chain swaps from native SUI to wrapped SUI on Solana through September 24, although network and exchange fees may still apply. The change comes about 19 months after Phantom introduced Sui support.
