Telcoin Reserves 1 Billion TEL for Eligible Holders and Stakers

Key Highlights:

  • Telcoin has reserved 1 billion TEL from its treasury pool for eligible token holders and stakers who support the network.
  • Eligibility includes TEL stakers, TELx liquidity providers and holders across Ethereum, Polygon and Base.
  • Allocations rely on $TEL balances at the snapshot, with five tiers ranging from Copper to Platinum.

Telcoin has allocated 1 billion TEL from its treasury pool for qualified holders and stakers who actively contribute to the network. The distribution is intended for participants across the Telcoin ecosystem, including those securing the Telcoin network, providing liquidity through TELx and holding TEL across Ethereum, Polygon and Base.

The allocation uses a levelled structure, with distribution sizes determined by participants’ token balances at the time of snapshot. Eligible users who claim their distribution will receive it directly in their own wallets, with options to hold the tokens, stake them on the Telcoin Network or supply them to TELx for probable future distribution.

Who Is Eligible for the Telcoin Treasury Pool Distribution?

Eligibility for the 1 billion TEL treasury pool distribution relies on participation in the Telcoin ecosystem. The programme covers multiple types of participants, including $TEL stakers securing the Telcoin Network at the snapshot and TELx liquidity providers who receive a distribution from the pool.

TEL holders across Ethereum, Polygon and Base are also eligible. Their distributions are weighted by balance and timeline. The programme covers holders and participants across several networks and distinct forms of ecosystem involvement.

TELx liquidity provision is already part of Telcoin’s documented incentive structure. Its official regulations explain that liquidity providers must contribute assets to supported liquidity pools and staked their liquidity provider tokens in the relevant incentive contract to harvest TEL. Under the published first-year framework, 200 million TEL was allocated to TELx with liquidity mining rewards calculated.

The amount allocated to every eligible participant is calculated using their $TEL position at the snapshot. The distribution process identifies the token balance as its input, with larger balances qualifying for higher ties and a greater share of the pool. Decreasing a balance before the snapshot can lower the resulting distribution.

The programme mentions five tiers, each simultaneous to a different allocation range:

  • Copper: The entry tier, open to all eligible holders, with allocations of approximately 6% to 7%.
  • Bronze: For holders maintaining a steady place, with distribution of 7% to 9%.
  • Silver: For committed long-term holders, with allocations of 9% to 11%.
  • Gold: For larger holders, with allocations of 11% to 13%.
  • Platinum: The highest tier for the largest holders, with allocations of 13% and above.

These tiers establish the distribution ranges described by Telcoin, with higher tiers receiving greater allocations.

What Can Eligible Participants Do With Their TEL Allocation?

Once claimed and eligible participants, distribution is credited directly to their own wallet. Recipients can then select to hold the tokens, stake them on Telcoin Network, or supply them to Telx to participate in future distributions. This gives participants multiple options for using their distribution within the Telcoin ecosystem. Holding allows recipients to retain their tokens in their wallets while staking supports participation in the Telcoin Network.

Supplying tokens to Telx provides another route for engaging with the ecosystem through liquidity provision and potential future distributions. The treasury pool reflects Telcoin’s stated commitment to returning value to the holders and stakeholders who support its network. By reserving one billion TEL for eligible participants, the program directs an allocation from the treasury towards members of the ecosystem.

Participants’ final distribution will rely on their eligible dollar TEL positions at the snapshot and the tier they qualify for. It does not mention the snapshot date, individual tier thresholds, or detailed claiming schedule; holders should refer to Telcoin’s official communications for those specifics before making decisions about their balances.
